October 22 is a significant day for Sigma Lambda Gamma sorority. On October 22, 1989 a group of women gathered for the first time at the Chicano Native American Cultural Center at the University of Iowa to form an organization that provided empowerment to women of all cultural backgrounds.
33 years later, here WE are. WE are their vision. WE continue their legacy.
