Celebrate and Donate|Gamma Turns 36!

Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. was founded at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa on Monday, April 9th, 1990.

Through the continued commitment and leadership of the Founding Mothers, Gloria Cuevas, Julieta Maria Miller-Calderon, Maria Ester Pineda, Danell Marie Riojas-Carbajal, and Guadalupe (Lupita) Temiquel–McMillian, the sorority membership and our donor community within it has expanded over the last 36 years.

Each year, the Education Foundation remembers and honors the Founders and members of the sorority who have helped shape who we are today and the mission and vision of our work. On this 36th Anniversary, we aim to continue to uplift, empower and support the members of Sigma Lambda Gamma. The Education Foundation believes if we educate a woman, we educate a generation and aims to mobilize the giving power of Gammas to change the world. Every Gamma, Every Year.

Can I make my donation a recurring donation?
Yes! That’s a great idea! At checkout you can elect to make the donation at whichever frequency you prefer. This will automatically deduct the donation amount on the same day every year.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. After completing your donation you will receive your tax letter.
